The New York Structural Biology Center (NYSBC) is pleased to announce receipt of a third five-year P41 grant from the U.S. National Institutes of Health. This grant will enable creation of a new Biomedical Technology Research Resource (BTRR) at NYSBC, the “Center on Macromolecular Dynamics by NMR Spectroscopy” (CoMD/NMR; P41 GM118302).
CoMD/NMR will provide advanced NMR spectroscopic and computational methods for characterizing protein and nucleic acid conformational dynamics in biological processes to the larger biological research community. For more details, please visit out website: www. http://comdnmr.nysbc.org/
This third BTRR joins the “Center on Membrane Protein Production and Analysis (COMPAÅ)” and the “National Resource for Automated Molecular Microscopy” (NRAMM) already established at NYSBC and underscores NYSBC’s commitment to developing new technologies in structural biology for the benefit of the Nation’s entire biomedical research enterprise. NYSBC is one of four institutions in the US that is the recipient of more than two P41s. (University of California at San Diego, Cornell University and University of Washington)
